Liquid Extruded Glue Systems Information
Spar-Tek Industries pioneered the application of foam glue in the plywood industry during the 1970’s. this technology for precision metering and glue extrusion has developed to the next step-Liquid extruded glue.
Liquid glue is metered and extruded under low pressure to provide a precision controlled glue line with no overspray or waste, replacing older and less efficient spray glue or curtain coater systems. The advantages of precision metering, exact spread width, and no aerosols has taken glue lines to the 21st century for efficiency and environmental safety.
Spar-Tek offers liquid glue application systems for many different widths and spread rates using a stationary applicator over a moving line.
Glue application systems with single or multiple heads are available as a combination with foam or other glue extrusion methods, and many other application methods are possible.
