Panel Saw Information
Spar-Tek Industries manufactures a number of different saws for cutting the panels apart on an inline layup line. These saws can be driven from the headshaft of the line or operated by servo controlled cylinders depending upon the speed and cycle time needed.
The fastest panel cutoff saw available is the fully hydraulic model and it can operate at over 18 panels per minute, way faster than a layup line can operate. These saws have set the industry standard for speed and reliability and many of the same assemblies are used in the other saws such as the hydraulic blade carriage and the hydraulic cross travel.
