Pre Presses for Plywood Information
The Spar-Tek Pre-press automatically receives a layed up package of veneer. Pre-set standing time and press-time along with the pre-set pressure are automatically provided. This machine does not require an operator and is designed for a long life and many hours of trouble free operation.
This fabricated end frame unit features a flat top carry through chain system eliminating most blemishes on high-grade panels caused by the chain. The traditional flooded suction hydraulic system is equipped with isolation valves for troubleshooting and maintenance as standard items.
The floating platen has full thickness top and bottom plates integrally welded to end plates and stiffeners.
The Main Rams are prefilled through a large ported vales that close leak tight to achieve high pressure.
The electrical control system for this pre-press can include transfer system operation, as well as many other functions, all interfaced through a programmable Logic controller of the customers choice. Remote floor mounted adjustment of press times, press pressures, and load/unload cycles, can be arranged easily to suit customers requirements.
