Spar-Tek Industries has received an order for two new press lines to be shipped to Sosnovoborsk, Russia. These include used 40 opening presses that will be rebuilt with angle platen guides and oversized landings to increase the safe opening and closing speed. New press charger system are included to make these lines operate as fast and reliable as a completely new press line with a considerable cost savings over new.
Spar-Tek Industries is completing the installation of a single opening 3600 Ton rubber mat forming press at a recycling plant in McMinnville, Oregon. This press is composed of eight press frames with a combined platen size of 112" x 384" and total weight of around 400,000 lbs when assembled. This special press design will allow the customer to improve the thickness control of the mat and increase production at the same time.
Spar-Tek Industries is also completing the installation of a new complete single 7ply Layup Line and a new complete Press Line with all new conveyors between the two. The Pre Press is placed halfway between the two to allow extra storage of loads. The layup line will have our foam glue system, and automated sheetlayers. The Hot Press is an 50 opening press with a roll away panel receive rack, and a hoist mounted unloader stacker.
